How To Get the World's Fastest Joomla! Admin Template
August 21, 2009 | by James Hafner | 2 CommentsToday, the self-proclaimed "Fastest Joomla! Admin Template" was released to the public. What makes this especially exciting, is that it was released for free! The team at JoomlaPraise developed a 'lite' version of their ground-breaking AdminPraise2 Joomla! administrator template, called (you guessed it) AdminPraise Lite.

Though a few of the really impressive whiz-bang features of AdminPraise2 aren't included, AdminPraise Lite has some pretty cool tricks up its sleeve in addition to seriously speeding up your administrative work. It also comes with a few administrator modules to make your life easier. Two of my favorites are the "Session Bar" module that counts down your session time, and the "My Editor" module that lets you change your editor on the fly!
Having used a beta version of this for a few days, I can honestly say that navigating around in the Joomla! administrator is a lot faster. That, combined with the smart organization of menu items made it a pleasure to work with. However, you want to know my favorite part about using AdminPraise Lite? I was able to look at something other than the stock Joomla! administrator theme for the first time in years! If you're anything like me and just need a change of scenery every once in a while to keep things feeling fresh, check out AdminPraise Lite.
