Hi Tina,

I'm sorry you feel that way, but the tag bot you are referring to is a different product. I am removing your links to that product because it seems like your post might be a thinly veiled attempt at spamming my site.

BS. The support I receive from the owner of mytagbot.com is suck. My bot is still not working. I does not collect ID while scanning or after scan. Sent 16 e-mail to author no reply. - TINA JONES

RR Aranda: Thank you for posting that. I was not aware of the fix. You are correct that I should have taken the time to look at the developer's website before I posted this. I will make the correction to the post. - Cory

Did you communicate with the developer at all before publishing this post? The developer's download area explicitly labels v1.0.5 as "an update that is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional". It does that for me (according to the W3C Validator) and works like a charm. I would add that the developer (Gabe/Fiji Web Design) in my experience provides faster, friendlier support than most commercial software vendors- extraordinary for a small, open source vendor supplying a product for free. It bothers me to see him or his product wrongly crititicized with the only comment to be a rah-rah for the critic, apparently from someone who doesn't realize the criticism is off-base. - RR Aranda

"If valid markup is important to you ([i]and it should be/i])..."

That made me chuckle! Way to go promoting good XHTML, Cory. It is good for J! - Amy Stephen
