The developer's download area explicitly labels v1.0.5 as "an update that is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional". It does that for me (according to the W3C Validator) and works like a charm. I would add that the developer (Gabe/Fiji Web Design) in my experience provides faster, friendlier support than most commercial software vendors- extraordinary for a small, open source vendor supplying a product for free.
