Joomla SEO e-Book available at Alledia.com PDF Print E-mail
Written by Cory
Thursday, 12 April 2007

I just got a copy of the new Joomla! Search Engine Optimization (SEO) book at Alledia.com. In his book, Steve Burge does a great job of breaking down the concept of SEO and providing simple, easy-to-follow steps for implementing SEO techniques in your Joomla! website. The book costs $37, so if you care about SEO for your website (and you should care about it), then I recommend heading over to Alledia.com to buy Steve's book.

Hi goldendream. If you can't afford the book right now, there is a lot of great information available at CompassDesigns.net and Alledia.com regarding SEO and Joomla! websites.

Good luck!
Cory

New SEO Techniques

Latest seo new says that having good quality and unique content always
drives a larger traffic. The content used should be well focused on the
topic having a good ratio of keywords and text. Writing enticing title helps
users to get attracted to the website. The title should be such that anyone
who is looking for the topic gets a overview of the website.

Rss feeds are also very important. Contents submitted in RSS feeds are
Syndicated content and crawlers find them easily. Since Rss feeds are written
in xml language they are readily accepted. RSS feeds also have a great
impact on a site's search engine ranking. It is therefore important to
submit your site or blow to RSS feeds.

Writing unique and good quality content is not a hard task. All you have to
do is keep in mind what the user is looking for. There should be ability
to communicate it clearly and effectively. There should be a well-planned strategy to submit links and make a site
Popular.

About HowToJoomla

HowToJoomla was started in September 2006 by me, Cory Webb, a long-time Mambo/Joomla user with a desire to give back to the community that has given so much to him.

HowToJoomla is not the best, most comprehensive Joomla tips site out there. That's not the goal. The goal is to share some of the knowledge and experience that I have gained through years of using the world's best content managment system. I hope that you will find this site useful and visit often. As I come across new tips and ideas, I will post them here for all to see.

I hope you enjoy using HowToJoomla and find it very useful.

Please take some time to read the Disclaimer.

Thanks for visiting!

About Me

I am a 28-year-old husband and father of a beautiful baby girl named Lucy. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from Baylor University, and over 4 years experience working with the Mambo/Joomla CMS.

On February 1, 2008, I started a web design, development, and consulting company specializing in designing and developing custom Joomla-powered websites. The new company is aptly named Cory Webb Media, LLC. The double meaning is purely unintentional, but with a last name like "Webb" it is difficult to escape the obvious puns. If you are looking for professional assistance with your website, please feel free to contact me to discuss your project.

I also run HowToJoomla, CoryWebb.com (my personal website/blog), and JoomlaForm.com (a site dedicated to promoting good design in the Joomla! community). In my spare time (if there is such a thing), I volunteer with the youth ministry at my church.
